What is Sugar Addiction?
When the craving for sugar and sweet foodstuff becomes uncontrollable, and physical and psychological withdrawal symptoms like binging, headaches, irritability, sweating, etc. are observed during period of abstinence, the condition is termed as sugar addiction, the physical and psychological dependence on sugar.
Following are some simple and effective ways of getting rid of the sugar addiction:
Accept the Addiction

Do not Cut Down Sugar Completely
You must never cut down on sugar completely since it will only lead to aggravated craving and the resultant binge eating. Eat sugar once in a while, in the form of fruits, to suffice craving for sweet flavor.
Choose Quality over Quantity
