Natural Face Packs for Instant Glow

Here are some natural packs for each type of skin.
For normal skin
First of all say a silent prayer and thank God for gifting you with a “normal skin” type as it is the least problematic one and saves you from a lot of hassle.
For the face pack, take a slice of any fruit that is available with you (apple, papaya, or banana) and add a teaspoon each of honey, milk, and gram flour.
Make a paste. Apply on face and neck. After 10 minutes, wet your palms and very delicately rub the pack on your face. Wash off with lukewarm water after two minutes.
Honey works as a surfactant, which means it brings out the moisture from inside to the outer surface of skin.
For dry skin
Fruits serve as a good base for all the packs made to sooth dry skin.
Take some avocado, ripe banana, strawberry, or papaya. Add a teaspoon of natural yogurt and few drops of glycerin. Make a paste and apply for 15 minutes. Wash with cold or normal water as warm or lukewarm water can lead to further dryness.
It is advisable that one should use an oil based moisturizer once the pack is washed off.
Aloe Vera is also considered good for dry skin so use it regularly in your day creams and face washes.
For oily skin
If you have oily skin, make fuller’s earth your best friend.
Take a teaspoon of fuller’s earth (multani mitti), one egg white, few drops of peppermint/mint extract or lemon juice, and some rose water. Apply for 15 minutes and wash off with cold water.
Fuller’s earth has a property of absorbing excess oil and leaves the skin fresh and taut.
For combination skin
This is a tricky skin type. You have to cleverly mix ingredients for nourishing oily as well as dry skin.
Take a teaspoon of grated cucumber, ½ teaspoon of honey, some milk cream and 1 table spoon of fuller’s earth. Apply the paste and leave for 15 minutes. Wash off with normal water and pat the skin dry.
