5 Tips for Looking, Feeling 'Young'
Every one wants to look young and feel energetic till they die, they want to be thin, have great skin, and of course hair. Having great skin and well shaped figure in your mids is not that difficult but all it needs is a bit of care and commitment from your side and see many heads turn in admiration.
1. Eat healthy food and say No to junk foods
Follow Adelle Davis saying: “Eat your breakfast like a King, lunch like a prince and dinner like a pauper.”
Don’t eat junk food or frozen foods but go for whole foods, veggies and fruits. Studies show it will not only keep your skin young but also helps in warding off common cancers.
2. Do regular exercise
Exercise daily; go for brisk walk or do cycling, swimming, jogging, skipping etc as healthy mind lives in a healthy body. It also helps in stimulating blood circulation of the skin and it will in turn relieve you from stress and keep your skin young and healthy.
Do yoga and meditation. The aim of yoga is the attainment of the physical, mental and spiritual health.
3. Laughter Therapy
Join a laughter club and spend some time daily laughing aloud with your whole heart. Laughter is the best medicine as it strengthens your immune systemdefine, can actually increases your intellectual performance and boosts information retention and protects your heart from stroke, attack etc.
The scientists have found that laughing 100 times equals the same physical exertion as a 10 minute workout on a rowing machine or 15 minutes on a stationary exercise bike. When an individual laughs then it works out the diaphragm, abdominal, respiratory, facial, leg, and back muscles. So what are you waiting for?
4. Drink lots of plain water
You want your skin to glow? One simple step and you can see the result. Drink at least eight to ten glasses of plain water daily. If you forget to drink water then you can make it a point to drink a glass of water after every hour and a half and if you feel plain water is boring then can add a bit of lemon juice or any juice you like in it.
Drinking lukewarm lemon water first thing in the morning will help in keeping your tummy flat and shedding few pounds. If you want you can add a spoon of honey in it.
5. Sleep for at least seven to nine hours daily
When you are dozing off at that time your body is healing and repairing itself so sleep for at least, seven to nine hours daily and give complete rest to your body and mind.
