o Half an hour before the start of journey, have a light meal of semi-solid foods like savouy porridge, idlis, upma, or a light khichri. Don’t overeat. Avoid liquids like milk and thick juices.
o Avoid spicy or greasy food.
o It is seen that anemic people are more prone to motion sickness. If you are a frequent traveler, ensure that you have a healthy blood count.

Moreover, experts recommend looking out of the window of the moving vehicle and gaze towards the horizon in the direction of travel. This will re-orient the inner balance and provide visual re-affirmation of motion.
