Drinking half a tumbler of broccoli juice a day keeps bladderdefine cancerdefine away! Exactly, this is what 79 year old, Ray has been doing for last five years after he was diagnosed with bladder cancer in 2003.
Ray gives all the credit to broccoli juice which has saved his life. 5 and a half years ago, Ray was diagnosed with bladderdefine cancerdefine and doctors did not expect him to survive. Since than he gulps down half a tumbler of broccoli juice daily and survived the condition. Even the scans done at the hospital confirms that the cancer has been kept at bay.
Ray, of Braunstone, Leics, said, “If I’d had my bladder removed five years ago — as was suggested — I’d have been vulnerable to many infections and wouldn’t be here. But the broccoli has stopped any spread of the cancer.”
Adding further he said, “Since I’ve taken it the pain in my bladder has gone. It has definitely relieved things and helped me out.”
Joan, 72, wife of Ray, started including broccoli in the diet of her husband after one of her friend told her about the cancer fighting properties of the veggie and claimed that it wouldn’t do any harm.
She said, “The consultant surgeon said how amazingly well Ray has done.”
She added: “It’s a bit of a mess getting the juice from the broccoli. If it wasn’t so good for Ray we wouldn’t put ourselves through the ordeal of making the drink!”
The researchers from the Cancer Research UK have decided to talk to former clothing worker Ray about the miracle recipe so that they could study more about the cancer fighting properties.
