 Cut out stress from your life!

Now-a-days, people tend to work longer hours, have their kids involved in more activities, and generally maintain a busier lifestyle. This can be exciting and enriching, but at times it can also lead to a feeling of constant stress and chaos.

Here are some ways that can reduce the stress of a life that’s packed to the hilt while still marinating the activities that are important to you.

Live within your means;
To say that money can’t buy happiness is cliché. Many people who make large amounts of money simply overspend, and carry a huge amount of debt, leading to a feeling of stress rather than abundance. To key to avoiding financial stress is to live within your means.

Cultivate a supportive social circle;
People with a supportive social circle, or even just one close fiend or partner to talk and lean on in times of crises enjoy a healthier and less stressful life.

Organize your time;
By keeping a schedule, learning to say no to excessive demands on your time, and utilizing shortcuts in life, one will be less frantic, and have more time to do things that energize and de-stress.

Clear clutter;
House and office clutter is both a cause and effect of stress in life. Clutter brings a general feeling of uneasiness, and drains your energy. De-clutter your house and office space by space.

Take care of your body;
If your body is healthy you’re better able to handle stressors in your life. However, an unhealthy body can cause a great amount of additional stress.

Meditation;
Meditation builds on deep breathing, and takes it a step further. When you meditate, your brain enters an area of functioning that’s similar to sleep, but carries some added benefits you can’t achieve in sleep too, including the release of certain hormonesdefine that promote health.

Exercise;
Many people exercise to control weight and get in better physical condition to become more healthy, but exercise and stress management are also closely linked. Exercise provides a distraction from stressful situations, as well as an outlet for frustrations.

Progressive muscle relaxation;
By tensing and relaxing all the muscle groups in your body, you can relieve tension and feel much more relaxed in minutes.

Sex;
The physical benefits of sex are numerous, and most of them work well towards relieving stress also.

Music;
Music therapy has sown numerous health benefits for people suffering from conditions ranging from mild stress to severe stress. When dealing with stress, the right music can actually lower your blood pressure, relax your body and calm your mind.

Yoga;
One of the oldest self-improvement practices, yoga combines the practices of several other stress management techniques like breathing, meditation, imagery and movement, to give the best benefits.
