Be regular at Farmers’ Market:

To find food simply visit your local farmers markets as everything sold out there is fresh and local so look out for a local farmers market and become a regular. You can find the freshly picked foods which are more nutritious.

Read the ingredients:

Look out for the ingredients on the food label, don’t get carried away with the long list. If you don’t have idea about what they are talking about then leave. Food products that advertise added vitamins and minerals are often replacing natural nutrients that had to be removed during processing.

The nutrients which are healthy for you seem to change almost every day. Some things are good for you, then bad for you, then good for you again. Avoid 'products' that make claims and stick to eating food. If you want extra vitamins, eat more vegetables.

Turn towards organic food:

Eating organic food can do wonders, though they are bit costly but health is precious so spending few bucks won’t hurt. Eating out will also cost more so spending money to eat much healthier and fresher.

Include vegetables and fruits in your diet:

Try to eat more of veggies and fruits as these bring more health benefits. Eat plants more as our ancestors used to do; no doubt they had much longer lifespan than our generation people. Plants have antioxidantsdefine, omega-3 fatty acids and fiber.

Studies show that vegetarian people have much healthy heart then the non-vegetarians. Then people who eat non-vegetarian once in a while have much better heart then meat eaters. Thus, include plants in your diet for healthy heart and healthy skin.

"Vegetarians have the best diet. They have the lowest rates of coronary disease of any group in the country….Some people scoff at vegetarians, but they have a fraction of our heart attack rate and they only have 40 percent of our cancerdefine rate. They outlive other men by about six years now." By William Castelli, M.D.

Try different things:

The more variety you have in your diet, the greater chances of meeting all your nutritional needs. Try new vegetables. You can find vitamins, minerals and other nutrients which are all available from nature -- you just have to eat different things to attain a good balance.
