Enjoy The Spa-Like Experience In Your Own Home

A day at the spa or a trip to a relaxing resort can be one of the most pampering, enjoyable times a woman can have. But when your schedule and your budget don’t leave room for professional indulgence, you can still de-stress and relax with this ‘at-home’ indulgence guide.

Follow these basic tenets for a daily Spa pampering experience that will keep you fresh.

• Shower with a luxurious soap or shower gel.

• Use a feet file to ex-foliate the rough areas and dead cells of your feet, after the shower. This will help maintain the smooth feel left after the Spa pedicure.

• Use a nail orange stick to push you cuticles and apply a moisturizing cream thereafter.

• Apply a rich body lotion or cream over your whole body immediately after the shower to seal in the moisture. A moisturizer increases the water content of the outer layer of the skin and gives it a soft, moist look.

• Dip round flat cotton balls in the cold rose water and put on your eyes for two minutes or more. It is relaxing and removes any worn out feelings from your eyes.

• Once a week take a milk bath. It will nourish and smoothen your skin. In a bath tub of warm water add 250 grams of powdered milk, half a table spoon of lavender oil, which is renowned for its magical relaxing qualities, and a drop of your favorite perfume. You may also scatter fresh rose petals in the tub for the ultimate relaxing experience. Then just lie in it and let your mind wander while the wholesome foam works wonders.
