Fighting Stress Related Insomnia

Stress and Insomnia

Insomnia can be defined as lack of sleep lasting for a couple of days or more due to innumerable reasons, the most prevalent reason being stress. And this is commonly known as stress related insomnia. And can be quite complicated.

Stress or anxiety puts you in a state of hyper-activeness and thus causes sleep disorders. The nervous system is prepared for action even while you go to bed. If you are in stress, this active system will cause sleep to run far away from you.

So you should try to go natural while treating stress related insomnia. Listening to soothing and light music while you are trying to fall asleep can also help. Or, simply pamper yourself by getting a spa or just take a sound bath. Don’t let stress rule you and you could definitely fight the uncontrollable insomnia.
