• For Sore Throats: Salt Gargle
Liquids soothe a scratchy throat and help wash phlegm away. Gargle four or five times a day with a solution of half to one teaspoon of salt in one cup of warm water. Make sure the liquid is not too hot: scalding will irritate the throat.
• For Hangovers: Water
It is never pleasant to wake up in the morning after with your mouth full of cotton and your head throbbing. Though the best cure is not to overindulge, but if you happen to, drink a tall glass of water after every alcoholic drink, and one glass of water before going off to bed. Eating curd can help reduce yeast infections, as the acidophilus cultures in curd help create a more normal bacterial environment in the vagina.

Ginger is the herb that provides help to relieve nausea, but also helps prevent motion sickness. Take a piece of fresh ginger about the size of your knuckle. Skin and dice it, and put it in a mug with a little sugar. Pour boiling water over the mixture and steep for five minutes.
• For Itchy Skin: Oatmeal
Soaking in an oatmeal bath (fill the tub with tepid water and add two cups of oatmeal) can soothe a myriad of skin irritations, including insect bites and sunburn.
• For Bee Stings: Baking Soda
Baking soda help calm the hurt of bee stings. Make a paste of baking soda and water and apply it to skin.
• For Overeating: Pineapple
If you’ve eaten too much, grab onto a bit of fresh pineapple. The enzymes present in it help you digest the proteins.
