Magneto therapy - A Simplistic Cure?

Today when the expenses of going to a doctor and buying medicines are touching the sky, how convenient does it sound to have something at your dispense at a nominal price and get the treatment done in the comfort of your own home?

Yes, welcome to the world of magnets. It could be a gateway to curing many of your health problems.

The healing power of magnets is mentioned even in Atharvaveda which was written centuries back.

So how exactly does magneto therapy work?

Magneto therapy is basically helpful in relieving pain and stiffness from the body. When the human body comes in contact with magnets, the magnetic waves pass through the tissues. As a result, currents are induced which lead to the production of heat thereby reducing pain.

We all are aware that hemoglobin in our blood contains iron. By attracting iron, the magnetic effect reaches the whole body. This helps in removing harmful minerals and cholesterol from our body.

Magnets possess the power to purify blood. They ionize blood due to which it flows easily without any obstructions. This in turn helps in proper functioning of the cardiovascular system.

If there is any hormonal imbalance, then magnets can go a long way in treating the same. And if or body has a balanced secretion of hormonesdefine, the skin glows with radiance.

Magneto therapy uses electromagnets and permanent magnets.

Magnetic field is produced in electromagnets only when electric current is passed through them. When the current flow is stopped, magnetic field disappears. On the other hand, permanent magnets remain magnetized permanently even after the electric current is disconnected.

Mostly disc shaped magnets are used for treatment. These discs are sold in pairs, i.e. north pole and south pole. The two poles possess different healing properties.

The north pole is helpful in curing diseases caused by bacterial infection. On the other hand, the south pole is used to treat all kinds of pains, stiffness and weakness.

For the treatment, both the poles are placed under the palms or soles. The north pole is applied to right side and south pole to the left.

A magneto therapy session lasts for about half an hour. Even after the ailment is cured, the treatment can continue. Magnetized water is also strongly recommended as it acts as a tonic.

The best part is that magneto therapy is not habitual and does not produce any side-effects.

Magneto therapy can work wonders for your health. But along with that regular exercise and a balanced diet is a must.
