1. Lead a healthy lifestyle
Look into your diet and have a balanced and healthy diet planned out for you. If you are obese then you are at risk of developing various diseases such as heart attack, stroke, gall bladderdefine disease, cancers etc. So, keeping weight in control will help in shooing away some of the deadly diseases. Add green leafy vegetable, fresh fruits in your diet chart. Reduce the intake of fat, sodium, sugars and calories.
Secondly, lead a active lifestyle, go for regular walks, meditate daily, join a gym, take staircase instead of elevator, go for swimming, dance, do cycling etc., the key point here is to exercise body muscles and be fit and loose weight at the same time.
2. Kick away smoking habits
If you don’t smoke then you are lucky as your chances of developing certain disease are quite low but on the other hand if you smoke then you are at risk of various cancers, heart disease, stroke, then breathing problems, like bronchitis and emphysema, are caused or made worse by smoking. Smoking not only affects your health but also the health of the people surrounding you. If you smoke then there is no much of use of fitness regime you have taken so kick away the habit because better late then never. Keep yourself away from alcohol, tobacco and drugs.
3. Visit doctor for regular check-ups
Do get your physical examination regularly, the age factor play a key role in determining how many times you need to see a doctor. Sometimes early screening can help in saving a life. Many times man doesn’t know what is actually there condition, are they having that cold due to weather change or is it some indication of serious disease, they don’t know whom to consult or what to do thinking may be they will get fine as the day passes by. Wrong approach.
4. Coping with stress
Nowadays we are living in a fast paced life where we have to compete with others in order to be in race and this competition results in stress, which in turn is the mother of various psychological and mental illnesses. Don’t always get involved in this race but try to take out time for yourself and relax for a while. Doing activities such as a short walk, meditating in a silent place, doing yoga, taking a hot bath, taking up a hobby, reading your favorite book etc anything which gives you peace.
