National Institute of Ayurveda offers "Research Fellowship" in the following Departments to undertake Advanced Study in Ayurveda:
1. Rasa Shastra & Bhaishajya Kalpana
2. Pancha karma
Applications on the prescribed forms are invited for Two Research Fellowships in each of the above Departments of this Institute.
The prescribed Applications Form along with rules and other information can be obtained from the Institute on payment of a Demand Draft worth Rs. 550/- drawn in favour of "Director, National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur" by post upto 10-10-2006 or on a cash payment of Rs. 500/- at the Institute counter up to 17-10-2006.
Eligibility : Candidates should possess the degree of Ayurveda Vachaspati (M.D./M.S. Ayu.) in concerned subject along with the degree of Ayurvedacharya (B.A.M.S.) with 55% marks from the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur or their equivalent examinations recognized by the Rajasthan Ayurveda University, Jodhpur/CCIM.
10% Fellowships are reserved for SC/ST candidates. One Seat is reserved for candidates nominated by BIMSTEC countries through ICCR.
Age Limit : The maximum age as on 1.1.2007 for a male Candidate is 35 years and for a female Candidate 45 years.
Fellowship Amount: An amount of Rs. 8,275/- Per Month for First Year and Rs. 8,660/- for subsequent years plus DA as per rules shall be paid as fellowship.
The research work done during the period of fellowship can be submitted to the Rajasthan Ayurveda University, Jodhpur for the award of “Ayurveda VidyaVaridhi” (Ph.D. Ayurveda).
The Director reserves the right to accept or reject any Application Form to cancel any admission without assigning any reason thereof.
