Tips for Taking Care of New Born Baby

To be a mother is a greatest thing for a women and a supreme gift of God to womankind. Having a child teaches you so much about yourself and life. The day when a woman has the first glimpse of her baby, the life gets changed automatically. For her it is not a dream but a reality. The fact that its only a woman who has the potential of bringing life into the world is just amazing in itself.

Your world changes in countless, wonderful ways with the arrival of your baby. When a baby is born, the parents are the center of its life. A baby depends upon his mother for all small small things. From its first moments, a new born baby will be picking up signals and learning from its immediate surroundings, which for much of the time involves the mother. One should be aware of this, and thus ensure that the baby is brought up in a peaceful, warm and secure environment.

This new one in your life comes with specialized "to do" and "to buy". But the most important things you can give your child are love, time and patience. Now, its turn of the new mother to look after her little bundle of joy and nurture him/her with her love and care.

Caring for your baby is certainly one of the most important things you need to consider once you became a new parent. There are many things you need to take into account in order to make sure that your baby gets all the attention. There is a great deal to bringing up a child, but for a new born baby you are able to concentrate on a few basic baby care skills. Much of it will come naturally, for mother and father that is love, the most natural baby care all.

Here are few tips to look after the new born babies:

1. Make sure that you feed your baby right.

2. Make sure that your baby sleep well.

3. Always follow proper way of bathing your newborn.

4. Preferably cotton cloths should be used to avoid unwanted skin allergies.

5. The baby must be kept warm and dry to prevent the heat lose.

6. Kohl (kajal or surma) should not be put to baby's eyes. It may cause infection and discharge in the eye.

7. Don't put oil in ears or nose of the baby. It can cause serious damage and infection.

8. Avoid harsh body massage. Any oil applied gently before bath is good enough.

9. Soaps and cosmetics should be avoided rather mild soaps should be used.

10. Do look after your own health. Eat a well balanced diet, which is more important if you are breast feeding.

11. Breastfeeding is the Bestfeeding.

As a new mother you must not think about anything else other than the baby and yourself so do take out time for yourself to rest and relax so that you can take bteer care of baby. Try to enjoy this new status to the fullest, despite the difficulties. Motherhood is after all blessed gift from God!
