Tips to Keep your Teeth Pearly White

Smoking and eating certain foods and drinks like tea, coffee, red wine and blackcurrant causes the surface of the teeth to get stained. Nowadays teeth whitening method is used to whiten the teeth and give that pearly white shine to the teeth. But if we still follow our regular eating and drinking pattern than this will adversely affect the teeth and it will again start discoloring. And, you again have to go back for whitening procedure or touch up.

Following some basic simple steps while help in keeping the pearly white shine as long as possible:

1. Quit smoking as its not only stain teeth’s but is also bad for health.

2. Teeth must be brushed or rinsed after consuming tea, coffee or any food item which causes teeth to get stained.

3. Cut down intake of sugary snacks and drinks.

4. Follow oral hygiene method. Brush teeth twice a day, in the morning and at night.

5. One must go for dental check-up at least once a year.

6. Limit your alcohol intake.

7. Use fluoride toothpaste.

8. Go for your touch up treatments when required.

# Using bio carbonate of soda with water as a paste and applying regularly will remove the surface stain from teeth.

# Applying paste of lemon juice and salt on yellow teeth’s will take away the yellowish tint giving way to nice white teeth.

# Rubbing the inner white part of the orange peel on teeth will also help making teeth shine

Taking a bit care of your teeth will help in keeping them pearly white for longer duration. Nowadays the market has flooded with whitening gels, toothpastes, gums, mouthwash, whitening pens and one can choose from wide range and could win the hearts with their perfect smile.
