Kalra Hospital is 100 bedded multi-specialty institute. The hospital has the most sophisticated Trauma Section (Emergency Support System), with drive-in casualty. It's highly efficient Intensive Care Units (Adult/Paediatric), the Heart Command, and the three Operation Theatres are fully equipped with the latest engineered technology. It also has a technically superior Cardiac O.T. & a spacious labour room. Emergency and trauma team consists of specialists from Anaesthesiology, Cardiology, Cardio-Thoracic Surgery, Gastroenterology, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Orthopaedics, Plastic Surgery, and Traumatology. Their team is fully geared to perform emergency operations, including round the clock cardiac surgery.
Objectives of Accident and Emergency Department:

* To forge a smooth continuum among pre-hospital providers, emergency medical care providers, and providers of definitive follow-up care.
* To provide appropriate and expedient evaluation, management, and treatment of patients.
* To ensure availability of resources in the Emergency Department.
* To accommodate each patient from the time of arrival through evaluation, decision making, treatment, and disposition.
