AGE

“They say that age is all in your mind. The trick is keeping it from creeping down into your body"--Anonymous

Looking into the mirror and seeing a face full of wrinkles, sagging skin, and fine lines can be very disheartening, but it's all a part of growing old, right?

A majority of women believe they are still judged on looks rather than their capabilities, and are at disadvantage when it comes to pay, promotion, and age.

The survey conducted by Marie Claire magazine and Everywoman, the UK’s largest business network for women, on nearly 3000 women revealed that almost half (46 percent) of the women have experienced sexism and a 44 percent have been verbally attacked for their appearance.

Tattoo model reveals how designs will age

Want to know how your tattoo will age with time? Well, a mathematical model might help you predict their designs will deteriorate over the years, claims a new study.

As incredible as it may seem, a formula has been laid out to evaluate the length and quality of life a tattoo can enjoy.

In a first-of-its-kind study, a mathematical model that can predict the longevity of a tattoo, even before it is designed on the body, has been brainstormed.

Dr. Ian Eames, a researcher in fluid mechanics, at the University College London (UCL), has put forth an intriguing model, one that would foretell the motion of tattoo ink particles over a long period of time and give silent advices as to which pattern to go for, reports the 'Mathematics Today journal'.
