Dead lizard found in mid-day meal, 77 students admitted to hospital

After spiders, snakes, and caterpillars, now lizards are being served to poor kids at government run primary schools. In a shocking incident, 77 children were rushed to hospital after consuming food containing a dead lizard in Madhya Pradesh on Thursday.

The lizard was found in vegetable which was distributed to children under the mid-day meal scheme, the officials reported on Saturday.

Out of 91 students who took the lunch, 77 started vomiting and were admitted to nearest district hospital, the sources said.

New Delhi doctor molests brain tumor patient

A 28-year-old woman, suffering from brain tumor, shocked hospital administration at the private facility when she disclosed that she had been molested by a doctor (who was allegedly handling her case) in her room on Saturday.

The victim was admitted by her family in the emergency ward of the Aakash Hospital in Malviya Nagar, South Delhi for treatment after she was down with high fever.

As per the complaint to police, victim alleged that she was molested thrice by the 26-year-old doctor on three different occasions in her ward.

According to the victim, first attack happened at around 11pm in presence of her husband when the doctor came to conduct a medical check-up.

Despite noticing what had transpired, she and husband decided to ignore the incident, thinking that he did not do it for on purpose.

After he was struck down with meningitis, Ivan's heart even stopped for 12 minutes during one cardiac arrest, and parents Sade Jackson, 20, and Phillip Cawley, 24, were left devastated when told they almost lost their baby.

But incredibly, the battling baby, who was placed on a life-supporting machine for seven days, defeated the disease and is now in the pink of health.

Now, he has just one final check-up left and will probably be given the all-clear next week.
