Astigmatism

I have astigmatism since 5th grade. I wear eyeglasses since I was 11 years old. Now that I'm 26, I sometimes take off my glasses; but the astigmatism keeps coming back. I'm unable to see objects clearly from a distance or up close. Does anybody here have astigmatism, too?
