Hi, Bed wetting is also
Hi,
Bed wetting is also called enuresis and it is of 2 kinds Primary and secondary. Primary means that your child has never been continent and secondary means that your was toilet trained but recently started bed wetting. As you have said that your child has never done anything of this sort before so I assume that she has secondary enuresis. Which has good prognosis
. But before diagnosing and starting with therapy, I would suggest you that you should visit your family Doctor and get your child checked for other causes of excessive urination which sometimes can mimic enuresis like, UTI, Diabetes mellitus and Diabetes insipidus. If Secondary enuresis is diagnosed then apart from the medical treatment there are some behavioral techniques which can be helpful like, 1) Dont give large amount of water to your child before going to bed. 2) make your child go to wash room every 2 to 3 hours during the night. 3) you can also use bed wetting alarms.
I think this will solve your problem...
