Is medical Education worth the effort?

Medical students sweat out a greater part of their lives learning about the most vague of diseases one can think of. No qualms they do earn the respect that comes bundled with the status of a doctor but the respect does nothing to outweigh the value of green paper. do you think after grilling thru all those hard entrance examz n spending almost half-a-decade at the medical schools, the doctors earn what is worth it?? or you blv the studies all go waste and people who do not hav all those degrees to boast of (say straight out of school-call centre executives) are better off??
