Allergies

I have a dog for almost 2 years and I didn't experienced any allergic symptoms. Lately, I had decided to let my dog sleep in my room. Now I have stuffy nose and red eyes and I noticed that these symptoms usually appear everytime my dog urinate on my bedroom floor. Could I be allergic to my dog's urine?

Phonyung, I think you're allergic to your dog's urine. You've mentioned that your dog is sleeping in your room; I strongly advised that if you have a spare room at home, let your dog sleep there so that your dog can't urinate on your bedroom floor.

yes, my doctor said I'm allergic to my dog's urine. My dog is not sleeping in my room anymore...he's now sleeping in our laundry room.

I think you are sensitive to your dog's urine. I suggest you go to the doctor; you need to have examinations and tests to confirm if it is really a pet allergy.

I'm not allergic to my dog in general, only to his urine. My doctor advised that my dog should not sleep in my room anymore.

New Delhi, November 18 -- Since its outbreak in June this year, the H1N1 influenza has taken a widespread toll. With four more H1N1 deaths in India, the toll goes up to 530, as per an official statement.
