The newly surfaced 'superbug' that is resistant to all antibiotics is believed to have originated in India.
With international travel for healthcare on the rise, the medical scientists are concerned that this new superbug could soon spread around the world.
Superbug: possible threats
British doctors have confirmed that they have treated patients exposed to 'superbug' after having surgeries like cosmetic treatments and organ transplants in the Indian sub-continent.
Scientists also warned that the superbug, a gene named New Delhi metallo-beta-lactamase-1 or NDM-1, could spread worldwide, because nothing has been developed to combat it, reported the Daily Mail.
