According to the research, young mothers end up gaining more weight by consuming foods that contain saturated fats and sugar-sweetened drinks.

A group of researchers, led by Dr. Jerica Berge, assistant professor of family medicine and community health at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis initiated the study that aimed to find the link between weight issues in young women.

There are many advantages to joining a gym. But it is essential that you do not fall a prey to the pressure tactics that gyms employ to get you to sign on immediately.

Before you join any gym as a member, make time to visit at least two or three other establishments offering similar services. Check out quality of service at each place and the amount of money they charge. This will help you make an informed decision.

Sweating is an essential body mechanism which naturally cools us down. As we release fluid through our skin, it evaporates and this process takes heat from the body, lowering our overall temperature.

Researchers at Osaka International University and Kobe University in Japan found that men perspire twice as much their female counterparts.

Study details and findings
For the study, researchers examined 20 women and 17 men, nearly half of whom were fit or trained, cycling continuously at various intensities for an hour in a room heated to 30 C.
