On March 11, the health officials announced that swine flu or influenza A (H1N1) took lives of three more people in country, taking the swine flu toll in India to 1,404 so far.
The officials added that none of the three deaths registered occurred during the day itself, all were earlier deaths that were confirmed and reported by authorities in the respective states where they occurred.
The two deaths were reported from Pink city, Rajasthan, and the third death was reported from Maharashtra.
Twenty four new cases of the flu were reported by health officials, including 20 in Maharashtra, and one each in Goa, Delhi, Karnataka, and Rajasthan.
