According to a latest study published in 'The Journal of Sexual Medicine,' smoking marijuana or pot smoking, which is believed to enhance sexual desire, may dampen men's libido and lead to sexual dysfunction.

Though research on the topic is contradictory and few studies are high-quality, a recent study finding that the penis contains receptors for marijuana's active ingredient should make drug addicts think of the long term effect before rolling a joint, the Fox News quoted lead researcher Rany Shamloul as saying.

"It's a strong message to our younger generations and younger men,” he added.

Physical illnesses can trigger mental problems--study

On the occasion of the World Mental Health Day on Sunday, doctors from Mumbai cautioned people to look out for early signs of mental problems that might end up becoming major problems in future, if left untreated for long.

As per doctors, mental problems can be triggered due to either minor or major (chronic) physical illnesses.

They revealed that the patients suffering from chronic illness, not just suffer from minor mental issues like anxiety, but major ones such as phobias, depression, and sexual dysfunction can also plague them.

Dr Ganesh Kumar, head of cardiology at L H Hiranandani Hospital, revealed that troublesome thing is that one in every three patients is suffering from minor mental problems these days.
