Researchers at the University of Oklahoma (OU) have found that a supplement containing black pepper, caffeine and capsaicin-- a component of chili peppers help in weight-reduction by destroying as many calories as a 20-minute walk would do.

Joel T. Cramer, assistant professor of exercise physiology, OU Health and Exercise Science Department said, “The OU study showed energy expenditures of three to six percent, results which are statistically significant enough to validate product weight-loss claims.”
