Tulsi decreases ill effects of radiation

The medicinal effects of tulsi, Ocimum sanctum or Indian Basil, has been known since long but recently their effect in decreasing the hazardous radiation properties came into light.

The results were purely based on phase II clinical studies done by researchers of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences at Defense Research and Development Organization.
