Methamphetamine drug users at high suicide risk

A new study by researchers at Columbia University's Mailman School of Public Health and the University of British Columbia has revealed that people addictive to methamphetamine, a psychoactive drug, have 80 percent more risk of attempting suicide as compared to those who inject other drugs.

Not only the suicide risk increases but these people also suffer from chronic depression, and problems such as headaches, fatigue and increased appetite.

Apart from giving a active start to the mornings, coffee, one of the world’s most popular hot beverages can inhibit depression risks, a new study suggested.

According to researchers, women who drink more than one cup of coffee every day are less likely to suffer from depression, compared to those with little or no intake of the beverage.
