Austin-based Solis Women's Health has acquired Phoenix, Ariz.-based MedTech Mammography Centers for an undisclosed amount. This has been the second acquisition that the company has made in this area, in 2008. In January the company announced its acquisition of Ben Ora Imaging.
MedTech Mammography Centers were founded in 1988 and have seven facilities in greater Phoenix and three in Tucson.
According to the CEO of Solis acquisition of the mammography centers would increase Solis' reach in Phoenix and Tucson, each of them being fast-growing markets.
