Three quick exercises for overworked eyes
Overworked eyes need better blood circulation and muscle relaxation to feel relief. The following exercises do just what is needed for tired eyes.
• Rub your palms vigorously against each other and apply the warmth produced to your eyelids.
• Keeping your eyes closed, rotate the pupils in all directions.
• Close your eyes very tightly and then open them suddenly. This exercise lets the muscles of the eye stretch.
You may do these exercises any time and any number of times.
Caution: If you wear contact lenses then remove them before doing these exercises.
